What we can and cannot answer
We are glad to answer questions about something we have published, to take a correction, to deal with a privacy request, and to discuss permission to reuse our text.
We cannot advise on your home, your health, your insurance claim or your legal position. We are not qualified to, and an answer from us would be worth less than an answer from the authority, insurer or professional responsible for your case. The Disclaimer explains where that line sits.
Corrections, and what helps
A correction is most useful with three things: the page, the sentence, and what you believe the position to be. If there is a published source — an agency page, a manufacturer's documentation, a regulation — a link to it means we can act the same day instead of researching from scratch.
Response times
We read everything that arrives and answer as quickly as we reasonably can. Requests under data protection law are answered within the period the applicable law requires; see the Privacy Policy.
